On-Site Physiotherapy at Doctors @ Coomera Central

Our physiotherapists provide personalised, hands-on care to help you recover from injury, manage pain and improve your movement and strength. Because physiotherapy is available on-site, your GP and physiotherapist can work together on your care, which is especially helpful for injuries, chronic conditions and rehabilitation. You do not need to be a patient of the clinic to see our physiotherapists.

What Physiotherapy Can Help With

Our physiotherapists assess and treat a wide range of conditions, including:

  • Back, neck and spinal pain
  • Sports and exercise injuries
  • Joint, muscle and soft-tissue injuries
  • Headaches and postural problems
  • Pre and post-surgery rehabilitation
  • Chronic pain management
  • Balance, mobility and falls prevention
  • Pelvic floor and women’s and men’s health physiotherapy

What to Expect

At your first appointment, your physiotherapist will talk through your history and concerns, assess your movement and identify what is contributing to your symptoms. From there, they will explain their findings and work with you on a treatment plan tailored to your goals, whether that is recovering from an injury, reducing pain or building long-term strength and function.

Our Treatment Approach

Treatment is evidence-based and tailored to you. Depending on your needs, it may include hands-on (manual) therapy, individualised exercise programs, dry needling or acupuncture, postural retraining, and guidance on activity and self-management. The aim is not just to relieve symptoms now, but to help prevent problems returning.

Physiotherapy with a Care Plan

If you have an ongoing or chronic condition, your GP may be able to refer you for physiotherapy under a Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan, which can provide a Medicare rebate for a number of allied health visits each year for eligible patients. We may also be able to support DVA and NDIS clients. Ask our reception team or your GP about whether you are eligible.

Bulk Billed

Physiotherapy is an allied health service and usually involves a fee. If your GP provides a Chronic Disease Management plan, a Medicare rebate may apply for eligible patients, and DVA and NDIS arrangements may be supported. Please ask reception about current fees.
