GP-led aged and geriatric care to help you or your loved one stay healthy and independent, here in Upper Coomera and open 7 days.
Bulk Billed Skin Cancer Check
At Doctors@Coomera Central we offer early detection, diagnosis, treatment and management of Skin Cancers.
Australia has one of the highest rates of Skin Cancer in the world. Approximately, two in three Australians will be diagnosed with Skin Cancer by the time they are 70. The majority of Skin Cancers are caused by exposure to the sun.
As we age, our health needs change, and good care can make a real difference to staying well and independent. At Doctors @ Coomera Central, our GPs provide thoughtful, patient-centred care for older adults, managing health conditions, coordinating support and looking after the things that matter most to quality of life. We are happy to work alongside family members and carers where helpful.
Health Assessments for Older Adults
A health assessment is a thorough check of your overall health, helping to identify any concerns early and plan ahead. Patients aged 75 and over are eligible for an annual health assessment, which is bulk billed for patients with a valid Medicare card. It is a good opportunity to review your health, medications and wellbeing in one appointment.

Medication Reviews
If you take several medications, a review can help make sure they are still right for you, working well together and easy to manage. Your GP can review your medications and, where appropriate, arrange a Home Medicines Review with a pharmacist.
Memory, Cognition and Wellbeing
If you or your family have noticed changes in memory, mood or thinking, it is worth talking to your GP. We can assess what is going on, provide support, and arrange further investigation or referral if needed. Looking after mental and emotional wellbeing is an important part of healthy ageing.

Support to Stay Independent
Staying active, safe and independent matters. Our GPs can help with falls prevention, mobility and strength through our on-site physiotherapy, and can support you to access community and aged care services, including referral to My Aged Care for an assessment where appropriate.
Managing Chronic and Complex Conditions
Many older adults live with one or more ongoing conditions, such as diabetes, heart disease, arthritis or high blood pressure. Our GPs can help you manage these through a GP Management Plan, coordinating your care, arranging any tests, and connecting you with allied health support such as physiotherapy and dietetics, all available on-site.
Bulk Billed
Health assessments, GP Management Plans and care plan reviews are bulk billed for patients with a valid Medicare card. We also bulk bill consultations for concession and pension card holders, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients, and DVA card holders. Other consultations may involve a fee. See our Booking and Fees page.
